What hungry people look for

Most visits to a cafe or restaurant site are short and on a phone: is it open now, what is on the menu, how much is it, can I book, and where exactly is it. Everything else is a bonus.

  • The menu as a web page, not a PDF. It loads faster, reads properly on a phone, and Google can read the dishes.
  • Opening hours you can change in seconds. Including holidays, from the editor, and kept in step with your Google Business Profile.
  • Booking. Linked to the table booking system you already use, or a simple request form if you do not use one.
  • Allergen and dietary information. Marked clearly on the menu. If you take orders online, allergen information has to be available before someone buys.
  • Events and specials. A section you update yourself, for quiz nights, set menus and seasonal changes.

Photos do the selling

For food, good photos matter more than clever design. We build the pages around big, fast-loading images and tell you honestly if your current photos are holding you back. The Raven Cafe showcase below shows the approach.

Examples to look at

Questions people ask us

Can I update the menu myself?

Yes. Dishes, prices and allergens are edited in the content editor, and the change is live as soon as you save.

Do I need a website if I am on Instagram?

Instagram is good for showing the food. A website is better for the practical questions (hours, menu, booking, location) and is what Google shows when people search for you by name.

Can you link to Deliveroo or Uber Eats?

Yes. We can link to your listings, or quote for ordering on your own site so you keep more of each order.
