Why we build shops on Shopify
We build most sites in our own code, but for shops we use Shopify. It handles payments, stock, orders, tax settings and security, and those are not things a small business should pay to have rebuilt from scratch. You get a design that looks like you, on a platform you can run without us.
The trade-off is Shopify's monthly plan and its transaction fees, which you pay to Shopify directly. We go through them with you before you commit, so there are no surprises.
What is included
- A custom theme. Designed around your products and how people buy them, not a stock template.
- Up to 50 products loaded. With photos, variants and descriptions you supply. More can be added at our day rate or by you.
- Payments and shipping. Set up and tested with real orders before launch.
- Training. A walkthrough of adding products, handling orders and running a sale.
When a shop is the wrong answer
If you sell a handful of things, a payment button on a normal site can be simpler and cheaper. If you sell services by appointment, you probably want booking, not a shop. We will tell you which on the first call. The calculator prices all three.

Who owns the shop?
You do. The Shopify account is in your name from day one, and the theme we design is yours once paid.
Can you move my products from another platform?
Yes. Product data, and redirects from the old product addresses so search traffic follows, are priced with the build.
How long does a shop take?
Usually 6 to 10 weeks from design sign-off, depending on how many products and how ready the photos are.
