Client siteImison & CoA new website for a firm of scrivener notaries in London: their services for individuals and companies, legalisation, translation and e-notarisation, a news section they update themselves, and the policies their regulator expects.imisonnotaries.com
We design the pages first and you approve them before any code is written. Then we build in Next.js, so the site loads quickly on a phone and stays quick as it grows.
You get a working preview link from the first week and can ask for changes at every stage.
| Speed on a phone | Tested on real phones |
| Titles and descriptions | One for every page |
| Sitemap and Search Console | Submitted at launch |
| Google Business Profile | Set up or tidied |
| Monthly report | Rankings and enquiries |
We fix what Google checks first: speed, page structure, titles, sitemaps and your Google Business Profile. Then we write pages for the searches your customers actually make.
Every month you get a short report of rankings and leads, including what did not work.

FloatWeb Web Development is Spencer Bullock and Mantas Statkevicius, the two people behind FloatWeb. We started in May 2024 after seeing too many small businesses paying for websites they couldn't update and that never showed up on Google.
We take on a few projects at a time, so the person who quotes your site is the person who builds it, and the one who answers your emails after launch.
We also run VantaSpec, our own product, so we know what it takes to keep a live site quick and online.
To begin, a 30 minute call. You tell us what the business needs the site to do. If a website is the wrong answer, we will say so and save you the money.
Within a few days, you get a written quote with a fixed price, a page list and a launch date. Nothing starts until you have agreed all three.
While we build, you have a live preview link that updates as we work. We check in every week and changes are part of the price.
At launch, we test on real phones, set up Google Search Console and Analytics, and show you how to edit your own pages. After that, a care plan is there if you want it.
Three honest ways to get a website. Each one suits somebody.
| FloatWeb | A website builder, like Wix or Squarespace | A bigger agency | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who does the work | Spencer and Mantas design it, write the code and set up the SEO | You do, starting from one of their templates | A team, often with an account manager between you and the developers |
| What it costs | $6,000 to build, then a care plan from $95 a month if you want one | A monthly subscription for as long as the site is live | Quoted per project, and priced for a bigger team |
| What you own | The code, the domain and the accounts, so any developer can take it on | Your words and photos. The site itself stays on their platform | It depends on the contract, so ask before you sign |
| Who you talk to | The two people writing the code | The builder's support team | Usually an account manager |
| Changes after launch | Edit pages yourself, or email us | You make them yourself | Through the agency, usually as paid work |
If your budget is well under our starting price, a website builder or a small template studio will serve you better than we can, and we will tell you so on the first call. The same goes if a Google Business Profile and a good page on social media would do the job: you may not need a website yet.
We are a good fit when the site has to bring in work, when you want the people writing the code to answer your emails, and when you want to own what you paid for.
Every price is on the page, so you know where you stand before we talk.

Counted from when you approve the design, a clear presence takes 4 to 6 weeks, a site that sells takes 8 to 12 weeks, an online shop takes 6 to 10 weeks and a full platform takes 10 to 16 weeks. Your quote gives you a launch date before anything starts. What slows projects down is usually waiting for text and photos, so we help you with both.
Yes. Your domain and accounts, like analytics and Search Console, are in your name from day one. Once the final invoice is paid, the site and its code are yours too, and within five business days we hand over admin access, a copy of the code and what you need to move the hosting.
Yes. A care plan ends with 30 days' notice once any minimum term in your agreement is up. If we host the site, we keep it online for 30 more days while you move it, and you get a full copy of the code.
Your agreement carries on with the partner who stays. And because the code, the domain and the accounts are yours, the site never depends on us: you can hand it to another developer at any time.
If you take a care plan, we host it, and your agreement names the provider and the country. If you don't, the site runs on hosting in your own name and we help you set it up.
Yes. We set up an editor for the pages you will want to change, like news, prices and photos, and walk you through it at handover.
A WordPress site needs its plugins updated every few weeks, and out-of-date plugins are a common way small sites get hacked. We build each site from scratch, so there is nothing like that to keep patching, and it loads quickly on a phone. If WordPress suits you better, we will say so.
Yes. Our afternoons overlap with US mornings, so calls are easy to book. We quote and invoice in dollars.
You can look after the site yourself, or take a care plan and we handle hosting, updates, backups and small changes. Either way, you can email us with questions.
